Eco Friends

You can find us at 230 Geet Govind Building in New Sadashiv Peth. We are right near the Lokmanya Library and behind Behere Classes. It’s a very old part of Pune and we’ve been here for quite some time. Our work is pretty straightforward. We focus on local things and helping people out with environmental stuff. We don't have a big office with air conditioning. It’s just a regular room with some old wooden desks. We like being near the library because it’s quiet most of the time. We aren't trying to be a big national company. We just care about what happens in our own neighborhood. We spend a lot of time talking to the students from the nearby classes. Sometimes we help organize small programs in the Peth area. It’s a lot of coordination with local authorities and neighbors. We don't have a professional marketing person. We just talk to people face to face. The building is a bit old, so we have to fix things ourselves sometimes. We know the guys at the tea stall around the corner. It’s a very local life we lead here. We don't make big promises. We just try to do our part every day. If someone needs help with a project, they just walk in and ask. We’re usually around during the day.
