Dum A Dum

We’ve been here in Kothrud for a while now, right in the Shivamrut Building on Paud Road. Most people know us because we’re right next to Natraj Chat Corner. It’s a busy spot, especially in the evenings when the street gets crowded with people looking for a bite. We started Dum A Dum because we wanted a place where locals could just come and eat without any fuss. It’s not a fancy setup, just a regular kitchen where we spend most of our day. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud you can barely hear the orders, but we’ve gotten used to it. The building itself is old, but it’s home for us. My cousin helps out with the prep work in the mornings, and we usually open up once everything is chopped and ready. Paud Road has changed a lot over the years, with new shops coming and going, but we’ve stayed put. We don't do much advertising or anything like that. People just walk in after seeing the sign or while they're waiting for their chat next door. It’s a small team here, just three of us mostly. We try to keep things clean and simple. There's no big story, just a lot of hours spent over the stove making sure the food is decent. If you're walking past Shivamrut Building, you'll see us there. It’s just how it is, day in and day out.
