Dj Swapy

Our place is at 492/93, Krishna Sadan, which is right near the Shankar Temple in Shukrawar Peth. It is an old part of town, so the lanes are quite narrow and it can be a bit of a squeeze getting larger equipment in and out of the building. Being so close to the temple means there is always something going on nearby, bells ringing or people walking past all day long. We started out small here and haven't really moved because it is a central spot for us. The building itself, Krishna Sadan, has that old Pune feel to it. Inside, it is mostly just shelves full of mixers, headphones, and whatever else we need for the day. Sometimes the power fluctuates a bit, so we have to be careful with the electronics. It is not a shiny showroom or anything like that. It is more of a workspace where things get fixed and prepped for work. My cousin helps out sometimes when it gets really busy during the wedding season. We usually grab a snack from the small shops around the corner. It is a loud area, but we fit right in with the music. Parking is a nightmare, honestly, so we mostly use our scooters to get around. It is just a simple setup where we focus on getting the gear ready and making sure everything works like it should before we head out to a gig.
