Devika Pan Merchants

We are located over in Bhawani Peth, specifically at Survey No 1544/45 A on Tilak Road 181. It is a busy part of town. There is always a lot of traffic passing by the front door. We spend most of our time getting things ready for the people who stop in. It’s a merchant shop, so we deal with a lot of different items every day. Some days are much busier than others, especially when the weather is nice. We have been at this spot for quite some time now. The building is old but it works for what we do. We don’t spend much on decorating or making things look fancy. It is a place of work. People come in, get what they need, and head back to their day. My family helps out when things get really hectic in the middle of the week. We keep everything stacked on the shelves where we can reach it fast. The floor gets a bit dusty from the street outside, but that is just part of being in Bhawani Peth. We know most of the people who live and work on Tilak Road. It feels good to see the same faces. We just try to keep the supplies moving and make sure everything is in its place. It is a standard routine that we follow every morning when we open up. We don't have any big slogans or anything. We just keep our heads down.
