Our office is over in Aundh, tucked away in the Shirine Garden building. It’s building C, flat 19 to be exact. It’s more of a residential-feeling spot which is nice because it isn't as loud as some of the main commercial blocks. We are right on Iti Road, just opposite the ITI itself. If you know that area, you know how the traffic can get during peak hours. Being in a flat means the layout is a bit like a home, with different rooms for different bits of work. We’ve got our desks set up where the living room and bedrooms would usually be. It’s a bit cramped with all the tax papers and ledgers we have to keep around, but we manage. D V Sathe And Company has been functioning from this Aundh address for quite some time. We usually start the day with some tea and a look at what needs to be filed. The neighbors in the building are mostly quiet, though you hear the occasional sounds of someone cooking or a door slamming elsewhere in the wing. It’s a very local way to work. We don't have big signs or anything, just a small plate by the door. Most people who come here are regulars who have known us for years. It’s a straightforward setup. No fancy lobby or receptionists, just us sitting at our desks doing the numbers.
