Classic Veriaties

Our shop is out in the Hadapsar area, specifically in the Kamdhenu Estate right on the Pune Solapur Road. It’s a very busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the trucks passing by. We call the place Classic Veriaties because we end up stocking a bit of everything. It’s one of those shops where things are piled up a bit high, and you have to know exactly where to look to find what you need. Being in an estate like Kamdhenu means we have a lot of neighbors doing different kinds of wholesale and retail work. It’s a very down-to-earth environment. We spend the morning sweeping the front and getting the displays ready. There isn't any fancy lighting or air conditioning that works all the time, just the basic stuff you need to run a shop. Most of our customers are locals or people passing through on their way out of the city. We don't go in for big marketing or anything like that. We just open the shutters early and stay until the work is done. It’s a simple life of selling goods and talking to the people who walk through the door. If you’re driving down the Solapur road, you’ll probably see the estate; it’s hard to miss with all the activity. We’re just a regular bunch of people trying to keep the variety of items available for whoever needs them.
