China Hill

We are located over at Sr No 2047 on Sane Guruji Road. It is right in Sadashiv Peth, which is a busy part of Pune. If you are looking for us, we are just opposite the Canara Bank. It is easy to find if you know that landmark. Our shop is not very big or fancy. We just have a small kitchen where we do all the cooking for China Hill. Most days start early with us getting the vegetables ready and cleaning up the space from the night before. The road outside gets quite loud with all the traffic and people going to the bank. We have been here for a while now. It is just a few of us working together. We don’t have a big team or anyone in a fancy uniform. We just wear what is comfortable for working in a hot kitchen. The menu is simple because we want to focus on a few things and do them okay. Sometimes we run out of ingredients late in the evening because we only buy what we need for the day. It is a bit of a struggle when the rush hits all at once and we have to move fast. We try to keep the place tidy but it is an old building and has its quirks. We don't do any big advertising or anything like that. People mostly just walk in because they live nearby or work at the bank. That is how we like it.
