We are located down in Budhwar Peth, specifically at 884 Bhori Ali. If you know where the Vijay Anand Talkies or Sonya Maruti Chowk is, then you have probably walked right past us without even thinking about it. We have been serving vegetarian food in this part of Pune for a good while. It's a crowded area, very busy with people shopping and moving around the old city parts. The restaurant isn't one of those modern, quiet places; it’s usually got the sounds of the kitchen and people talking over their meals. We open up early to get things ready for the day. Being in Budhwar Peth means there is never a dull moment outside our doors. We just focus on keeping the tables clean and making sure the food is ready when people come in hungry. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, and some of our staff have been with us long enough to know the regular customers by name. We don't spend money on big signs or fancy lighting. The building is old, like most things in this neighborhood, but it’s sturdy and has a lot of history to it. You’ll find us right there near the chowk, just doing what we do every day. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going. It’s just a simple veg place for local folks and anyone passing through the market who needs a quick, honest bite to eat without any fuss or corporate feel.
