Central Lodge

You’ll find Central Lodge at 13 Wilson Garden, right on Motilal Talera Marg. We’re pretty much directly opposite the Poona Railway Station, which is the main landmark for us in the 411001 area. Since we’re so close to the station, we get a lot of people who have just hopped off a train and need a place to crash. It’s a busy spot with all the taxis and rickshaws constantly moving outside. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a simple lodge where we try to keep things clean and functional. Our days are filled with changing linens, sweeping floors, and talking to travelers from all over. It can get a bit loud with the trains so close, but you get used to it after a while. We’ve been here for a good long time now. We aren't a big chain, just a local spot run by a few of us who know the area well. We spend a lot of time just maintaining the old building. It’s got some character, even if it’s not perfect. We don't offer much more than a bed and a roof, but we try to do that part right. Being across from the station means there’s always something happening, even late at night. We just take things as they come and try to be helpful to anyone who walks in the door.
