We are based out here in Ahmednagar, though the name on the door says Bharti Airtel Services Ltd. Pune. It’s a bit of a drive between the two cities, but this is where we handle the day-to-day stuff for the area. The office isn't anything fancy, just some desks, computers, and a lot of paperwork that seems to pile up no matter how much we clear it. Most of the time, we are just making sure the connections are running and people aren't having too much trouble with their lines. It gets pretty hot here in the afternoons, and the fan in the corner makes a bit of a clicking sound that we’ve all just gotten used to over the months. Some days are quiet, just us answering emails or checking on service requests, and other days it feels like everyone in town has something going on at once. We’ve been at this for a while now. The team is small, just a few of us who know the area well. We usually grab tea from the stall down the road around four, which is the highlight of the day when the sun is really beating down. The parking outside is always a bit of a mess with bikes everywhere, but we manage to find a spot. We aren't trying to be some huge corporate hub; we are just the local branch making sure things stay connected for the people nearby. It's a lot of phone calls, honestly.
