We’ve been here at Shukrawar Peth Street No2 for quite some time now. You’ll find us right near Dashmesh Nagar 1376. It’s a busy little corner of the world. Most mornings start pretty early for us. We get the shutters up and start getting things ready before the sun is even fully up. The street gets loud fast with people heading to work or school. Bapat Uphar Gruha is just a simple place where people stop in. We don't have fancy chairs or expensive decorations or anything like that. It’s mostly locals who live nearby or people who have been coming here for years. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded and the line goes out the door, but we try to keep things moving as fast as we can. The kitchen stays hot all day long. You can hear the pans clanking from the back if you stand near the counter. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. It’s just four walls and the food we make. Most of our regulars don't even need to look at a menu anymore. They just walk in, find a spot, and we already know what they want. It’s just how things work around here in this part of town. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but Shukrawar Peth still feels like home to us.
