Audumber bhojnalay

Audumber bhojnalay is located right on S.P. College Road in Sadashiv Peth. We are near Khajina Vihar, which is a spot most people in Pune know. We’ve been serving meals here for quite some time. It’s a simple bhojnalay, so don’t expect anything too stylish. We have benches and tables where people can sit down and have a thali or a quick plate of food. Most of our customers are students from the nearby colleges or people working in the Peth area. We keep things very basic. The menu doesn't change much because we know what people like. We start cooking early so everything is ready by lunchtime. It gets very crowded between one and two in the afternoon. We try to move people through quickly so everyone gets a seat. The kitchen is right there, so you can hear the clatter of plates and the sound of the stove. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us doing the cooking, serving, and cleaning up. It’s a lot of work to keep up with the rush. We use the same recipes we’ve always used. We aren't trying to win any awards; we just want to provide a meal for a fair price. It’s a noisy, busy place, but that’s how it’s always been here in Sadashiv Peth. We like the energy of the students. It keeps us going even on the days when we're tired.
