Ashok and Ramesh started this place on Hadapsar Lalbaug Road a long time back. It is located at Sr No 206, right where the traffic usually gets heavy in the evenings. We spend most of our days surrounded by bundles of wires, switchboards, and different kinds of lighting fixtures. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic in the shop because we have so many things stacked up, but we know where everything is. People from around the neighborhood come in when their fan stops working or they need some wiring done for a small event. We also handle some mandap work, which keeps us extra busy during the festival months. Usually, one of us is out on a call while the other stays back to mind the counter and talk to whoever walks in. The shop isn't very big, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the next customer. It is just a regular local business where we try to get things fixed properly so people don’t have to come back twice for the same problem. We’ve seen the road change quite a bit over the years, with new buildings coming up around us, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. Most of our tools are old but they still do the job. If you walk past Sr No 206, you will likely see us sitting out front or testing some bulbs.
