Ashirwad Kalyana Mantap

This place is tucked away in Shaniwar Peth at Building No 526. We are on Mehunpura Lane, which is right near Apptha Balwant Chowk. If you know where Prabhat Theatre is, we are just a short walk from there. It’s a very old part of town, so the lanes can be a bit narrow and parking is always a headache, to be honest. We’ve been running this marriage hall for a long time. People around here know us for hosting local weddings and community events. It’s a traditional kind of setup, nothing too modern or flashy. The building has that old Pune feel to it. Sometimes the stairs feel a bit steep and the halls get warm during the summer months, but we have fans going. We see a lot of families coming in to check the dates. We try to keep things simple for them. It’s not about being the biggest venue in the city, it’s just about having a dependable place for people to get married. We handle the cleaning and the basic arrangements ourselves. It gets really crowded during the wedding season, and you can hear the music echoing down the lane. We like being part of this neighborhood. It’s a busy, lived-in area and we’ve been part of it for years now, just across from the theatre. We don't have a fancy office, just a small desk where we handle the bookings and the paperwork for the families.
