Archer Retreat

We are located at 280/5 in the Kothrud area of Pune. It’s a bit of a quieter spot compared to the main city center, which is nice. The building isn't brand new or anything, it has its own character and some spots where the paint might be a bit thin. We manage the day-to-day things ourselves, from checking the rooms to making sure the common areas are tidy. Kothrud has changed a lot lately with more people moving in, but our corner stays pretty much the same. We have some trees around that give a bit of shade during the hot afternoons. Inside, the furniture is functional and simple. We don't have a big lobby with marble floors or fancy staff in suits. It’s just us and a few workers who help out with the cleaning and maintenance. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a lightbulb goes out, and we just fix it and move on. People come here when they want a place that feels a bit more like a home than a hotel. We spend a lot of time just making sure the basics are covered, like clean sheets and water. The weather in Pune is usually okay, but we still make sure the fans are working for the guests. It’s a straightforward life here, just looking after the property and talking to the people who stay with us for a night or two.
