Apoorva Family Restaurant

Apoorva Family Restaurant is tucked away in the Ashray Hotel building over in Parvati, Pune. We are right at Mitramandal Chowk, which is a busy little corner most days. If you know where Laxmi Narayan Theatre is, we are just off Satara Road from there. It’s a good neighborhood with a lot of history and old buildings. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while, and it feels like home to us now. The theater nearby brings in some crowds in the evenings, but mostly it's just the local folks from around Parvati who stop in. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking here. It’s just a family-run kind of place where we try to stay busy and keep things moving. The space inside isn't too large, but it's enough for what we do. We start our mornings early, getting everything ready before the lunch rush hits the streets. Pune weather can be unpredictable, but the restaurant stays pretty much the same. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or making things look perfect for photos. It’s more about the daily routine and seeing the same people every week. If you’re walking around Mitramandal Chowk, you’ll probably see our sign hanging out there. It’s just a normal part of the street. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit hot and the noise from the chowk is loud, but we just get on with it.
