Aparna Caterers & Mangal Kendra

Our business is tucked away in Karve Nagar, at S No 83/84 Nandadeep within the Navshayadri Society. It’s a quiet residential area in the 411052 part of Pune. Being a catering and mangal kendra means our schedule is never really the same from one week to the next. Some days we are up before dawn packing crates of food, and other days we are just sitting in the office sorting out the utensils. The society around us is full of people we’ve known for years. We aren't a massive company with a hundred trucks; we are more of a local operation that knows how things work in this part of town. Most of our work happens in the background, making sure there is enough food for whatever party or event is going on. The kitchen at Nandadeep gets pretty warm when the big pots are on the stove. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just cook and set things up. Sometimes the delivery van gets stuck in the narrow society lanes, but we always figure it out. It’s been our life for quite some time now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the local weddings and festivals. We like being in Karve Nagar because it feels like home, and we treat every job like we are doing it for a neighbor who needs a hand.
