Anupam Caterers

We've been at Swanand Nivas for a good bit now. It's Golghar No 20, right by Prasad Mangal Kendra in Pandav Nagar. If you're coming from behind Fergusson College in Shivaji Nagar, you'll find us pretty easily. People around here know us as Anupam Caterers. It gets really busy in this kitchen. You’ll hear lots of pots and pans clanking around early in the morning. We spend most of our time getting food ready for local events. It’s a lot of manual work, chopping vegetables and making sure the masalas are just right. The kitchen isn't fancy at all but it gets the job done. Sometimes the street outside gets a bit crowded with the delivery vans, but that's just how it is in this part of town. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just the main work area where everything happens. You might see us unloading crates or checking the stock when you walk by. Most of the people working here have been with us for years. We know the neighbors and they know us. It’s a simple setup. We don't go for big advertisements. People just hear about us through word of mouth. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic when we have three orders on the same day, but we manage. If you need to find us, look for the sign near the gate. We’re usually around from early morning till the sun goes down. It's hard work but we are used to it by now.
