Dhole Patil Road is one of those places that’s always buzzing, and we’re right in the middle of it at Choice Arcade. Our office, D-34, is tucked away inside the building. Anukul Chandra Foods Pvt. Ltd. has been here for a while, and it feels like home now, even if it is just a commercial space. The arcade has a lot of different shops, so there’s always people walking past our door. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms where we handle all the food business. We have files stacked up and the computers are always humming. It gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we usually have the windows open to let in the city sounds. You can hear the traffic and the occasional horn from the road. We spend most of our time coordinating things and making sure the supplies are moving. It’s not always pretty—there are boxes everywhere and the tea guy comes by twice a day to keep us going. We aren't trying to be some big, polished corporation. We’re just a group of people working together in a small office on a busy Pune street. It’s practical and it works for us. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know how to navigate the small space without bumping into each other.
