Ambassador Bag Industries

We have been here at No. 10/2 Kumarappa Mudali Street for quite a while now. Most people around here just know us as the bag place. It is usually pretty loud with the machines going all day long. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with the delivery trucks, but that is just how things are in this part of town. We spend most of our time just looking at fabrics and checking the stitching on everything we make. It is not a big fancy office or anything like that. It is just a workshop where we get things done. We make all sorts of bags and some days the piles of material seem to reach all the way to the ceiling. It can get quite dusty, especially in the late afternoons when the sun hits the floor. Most of the guys here have been working these machines for years. We just try to keep up with the orders that come in. There is always someone stopping by to ask about a specific handle or a zipper. We do not have a big front desk for visitors. You just walk in and someone will help you out. Usually, there is some tea going around at some point in the morning. We do not really do much advertising. People find us because they need something sturdy that will last. It is a lot of cutting and measuring all day. It is honest work and it keeps us busy.
