Amardeep Mandap Decorators

Sinhagad Road is one of those places in Pune that just keeps growing. We are located at number 130 on S G Road, and it's where we keep all the stuff for Amardeep Mandap Decorators. Most of my time is spent checking the inventory, making sure the cloth for the tents is clean and that the poles aren't getting rusty. It’s physical work, moving chairs and tables around all day. When people have a wedding or a big party, they come by to talk about what they need. I usually sit them down in the small office area and we look at some old photos of what we’ve done before. It's not a high-end corporate office, just a place with a lot of stuff piled up. Pune gets quite busy during the wedding season, so sometimes we are working through the night to get everything loaded onto the trucks. I’ve lived around here for a long time, so I know most of the shortcuts to get the vans through the traffic. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes, especially when two events happen on the same day. But we have a small crew of guys who have been with me for years, and we just get it done. It’s not always pretty, and sometimes we’re tired, but the work is steady. Being on Sinhagad Road means there is always someone popping in to ask a question or book a date for a function.
