Alpa Bachat Bhavan

We’ve been here at the Alpa Bachat Bhavan building for quite a while now. If you know the area behind the Council Hall on Queen’s Garden Road, then you probably know where we are. It is a busy part of the Camp area in Pune, but also has some quiet spots with all the old trees around. Most mornings start early for us here. We get the place ready, open up the doors, and wait for people to stop by for their various needs. There is a lot of history in this part of town and you can feel it when you walk down the road. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud with all the horns honking, but inside the building, things move at their own pace. We aren't a big fancy operation or anything like that. Just some people working in a solid old building. The address is 7 Queen’s Garden Road, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New buildings come up and old ones get painted, but we just keep doing what we do. It’s a practical space. We don't have a lot of decorations or anything that isn't needed. People come in for their business, and we try to help them out. It’s mostly just the regular routine of keeping the place clean and making sure everything is where it should be. We focus on the work at hand and don't spend much time on anything else.
