Alchemy Weddings

We have been working out of Wanawadi 16 for several years now. When people hear the name Alchemy Weddings, they might think of something magical, but for us, it is mostly about sitting at desks and making sure the guest lists are correct. We spend a lot of time on our mobile phones talking to flower shops or people who rent out tents. It is a lot of coordination and checking things twice. Our space here isn’t very big, but it serves us well for meeting people and going over their plans. The neighborhood has its own rhythm, and we have become a part of it. Sometimes the office gets crowded with samples of fabric or different types of invitation cards. We don't have a fancy coffee machine or a modern lobby. It is just a place where we drink our tea and get through the folders of paperwork. Planning someone’s big day is mostly about making sure the small stuff doesn't get forgotten. We handle the logistical side of things so the families don't have to worry as much. It can be quite tiring during the peak season when there are several events in a row. We usually go home feeling pretty worn out, but that is just how the business goes. We don't try to make it sound like it's easy work because it really isn't. It is just what we do every day here.
