A1 Wadhwa Decorators is located over in Shivaji Nagar, specifically at 6/1187/27. It’s a bit of a maze back there with all the numbered lanes, but we’ve been here long enough that we don’t get lost anymore. Our place is basically a big storage room packed with everything from chairs to decorative drapes. It’s a family-run operation. We handle the decorations for all sorts of functions, mostly right here in the Shivaji Nagar area. We don't use any fancy software to plan things; we usually just write it down in a big ledger book we keep on the desk. Sometimes it gets a bit messy when we have multiple orders coming in at once. We spend a lot of time cleaning the fabrics and making sure the metal frames aren't rusting. The work is mostly on-site, so we’re usually out in the van for most of the day. It’s a lot of driving back and forth. We don’t have a sales team or anything like that. If you call, you’re probably talking to me or one of my brothers. We try to be straightforward about what we have in stock. If we don’t have a certain color, we’ll just tell you. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it has worked for us for years. We just focus on getting the stage set up before the guests arrive. The traffic in Shivaji Nagar can be a real headache some days.
