A D Naik & Co

A D Naik & Co has been in Guruwar Peth for a long time now, right across from the Anandi Bai Karve School. It is an old building, number 413, and the rooms are a bit small but it suits us just fine. Most mornings start with tea and going through papers. We handle a lot of the usual paperwork and filings that people in the neighborhood need help with. It gets busy during certain times of the year, and the desk gets buried under folders. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy outside. People mostly find us because they live nearby or their family has been coming here for years. The traffic outside can get pretty noisy since we are right on the main road, but you get used to it after a while. We aren't trying to be some big corporate firm. It is just a few of us here doing the work and making sure things are filed correctly. If the door is open, someone is usually inside working on something. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait it out. It is a simple operation. We know the shopkeepers nearby and most of the regulars who walk past the school every day. Just a local office doing local work in a part of town that we know well. We take things one day at a time here and don't worry too much about the small stuff.
