About Viveka English Medium School – Education in Prakasam
We’ve been here in NGO Colony for a good while now. It’s a busy part of Satyanarayanapuram, right in Pamur, so there is always noise from the street outside. Our school building isn't anything fancy, just a solid place where kids from around here come to learn their lessons. Most mornings start with the sound of cycles pulling up and parents dropping off their little ones before heading to work. We have different classrooms for the grades, and the walls are covered in some old charts and drawings the students made last year. The desks have seen better days, but they do the job just fine. During the lunch break, the whole place smells like lemon rice and pickles because everyone opens their tiffins at the same time. It gets quite loud then, which is normal for a school. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the fans click too loudly or a window won't stay open properly. It’s just how it is. Teachers here mostly live nearby, so they know the families well. We don’t have a massive playground, but there is enough space in the back for the kids to run around and get some dust on their uniforms. On rainy days, the water tends to puddle near the gate, so everyone has to hop over it. It’s a simple setup we have here in this corner of Pamur, nothing more and nothing less.
