Rvv High School

Rvv High School is situated out in Uppugundur, which is part of the Naguluppulapadu area in Prakasam. If you know this part of the country, you know it’s mostly fields and quiet roads until you get near the school grounds. We have kids coming in from the nearby villages every morning. They usually walk or come on their bicycles, making a bit of a mess with the parking. The building itself has seen better days, maybe, but it does the job. We have different classes for the high school students and the teachers are usually busy with their lesson plans and grading papers. It gets loud during the lunch hour when everyone is outside. We don't have a big cafeteria or anything, so most kids just sit under the trees or in their rooms to eat. The ground is just dirt and grass where they play a bit of cricket or run around. We have the usual blackboards and chalk, and the rooms can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up from the fields outside. Living and working here in Uppugundur is simple enough. We follow the standard government schedule for holidays and exams. There isn't much to say other than it’s a local school for the local families. We try to keep the place tidy but with so many students it’s a bit of a struggle sometimes. That’s just how it goes here day in and day out.
