Sri Chaitanya School

We’ve been here in Addanki for a while now, right in the Prakasam district where the sun gets pretty hot in the afternoons. The school building isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, just a regular place where kids show up every morning with their bags. You can hear the noise from the main road sometimes when the windows are open. Most days start the same way with the staff getting here early to open up the gates and check the rooms. The desks are getting a bit old but they do the job. We spend a lot of time just keeping things organized. It's a lot of work handling so many students from morning until the final bell rings at the end of the day. Parents come by often to ask about things, standing in the hallway near the office. It gets quite busy during the rainy season because the ground outside gets a bit muddy and everyone tries to crowd inside at once. Inside the classrooms, you see drawings on the walls and stacks of books everywhere. We don't have a huge playground, but the kids find space to run around during the short breaks. The fans hum all day long trying to keep the air moving. It’s just a normal school life here, nothing like what you see in movies. We just focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids aren't making too much trouble in the corridors.
