A P Social Welfare Residential Schools

Located in the Mission Compound in Prakasam, our school is one of the A P Social Welfare Residential Schools that people rely on. The Mission Compound is an old area, and you can feel that when you walk around the grounds. The buildings are solid, but you can see the age in the bricks and the wooden doors. We have a lot of students living here, so there is never a quiet moment. Between the bells for class and the whistles for meal times, it is a very scheduled life. Prakasam can be a tough place when the weather isn't helping, but we have enough space inside to keep everyone comfortable. Our address is 523316, and the mail usually arrives around noon. We don't have any of those modern glass offices or anything like that. It is just brick, mortar, and a lot of students trying to learn. The kitchen is always busy, and you can usually smell whatever is cooking from the front gate. The dormitories are simple, with bunk beds and small cupboards for the kids. We spend a lot of time just maintaining the place, fixing a leaky tap here or a broken chair there. It is a very hands-on environment. Most people who work here have been around for years and know the routines by heart. It feels more like a big, messy family than a cold institution.
