You can find V N G Public School at House No 58-13-5 in the Santhapeta neighborhood of Ongole. We are right in the middle of a residential area, which makes it very convenient for the families who live around here. The school building is an older house that we have adapted over time. It has a lot of character, even if the paint is peeling in a few spots. We have several small rooms that we use for different grade levels. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but it works for us. The kids play out in the front courtyard when they have their break. It’s a simple life here. We don’t have a big staff, just a few teachers and someone to help with the cleaning. We spend our days teaching the standard subjects and making sure the kids follow the rules. Parents often drop by to talk to us while they are out doing their shopping. There is no formal reception desk, just a table where we handle all the paperwork. Ongole can get very hot, so we make sure the fans are always working. We aren't trying to be the most prestigious school; we just want to be a reliable place for the local kids to get an education. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place where everyone knows each other’s names. We just do the work and try to keep things running as smoothly as we can.
