Akshara High School

Akshara High School is located at 6-52 in Cmr Colony, over in Kondapuram. It is a residential area, so it is mostly quiet around here except when school starts or lets out. We have a lot of students from the houses right here in the colony. The school is a few floors high and the stairs are always busy with kids running up and down. We have a small yard where they do their exercises in the morning. Kondapuram can get very dusty, so we are always cleaning the windows and the floors. The classrooms have the usual benches and chairs, and we try to keep the fans running when the power is on. We teach all the regular high school subjects. The teachers are mostly local people who have been with us for a few years. We don't do anything fancy, just follow the books and prepare the kids for their exams. During the break, you can hear the noise from the yard all the way down the street. We have a small office near the entrance where we keep all the records and talk to parents. It is a basic setup but it serves the families in Cmr Colony well enough. We just try to make sure the students show up on time and do their homework. It’s a steady job for all of us here, and we like the neighborhood feel of the place.
