Samrat Caterer

You can find Samrat Caterer over in Raja Bazar, right at Rajendra Place. We are basically across from Getwel Hospital, not too far from the Bihar Veterinary College. It’s a hectic spot with a lot of people moving around, especially with the hospital and college right there. We spend most of our time in the kitchen or out on deliveries. Catering isn't easy work, you're always on your feet and worrying about the heat. We’ve been at this for a while now. We don't have any big mission statements. We just cook food and bring it to people’s houses or event halls. The menu is usually stuff people around here like to eat. We try to be honest about what we can do and when we can get it done. Sometimes we are running behind because of the Raja Bazar traffic, which can be a nightmare, but we always get there eventually. We aren't some fancy high-end catering firm with waiters in tuxedos. We are just regular people making sure the guests at a party don't go hungry. We’ve worked in a lot of different venues around the city, so we know how to set up in small spaces or big gardens. It's just a job for us, and we take it one day at a time. If someone needs a meal for fifty or five hundred, we just figure out the logistics and get to work. It's good, honest labor.
