The Berkley College

Out on the Choura-Sanour Road in Patiala, you’ll find The Berkley College in Village Dharmkote. It’s a bit away from the main city center, which gives us a little more breathing room. We have been operating here in Punjab for a while, focusing on college education for the local students. The college is set up on a decent piece of land with several rooms for different subjects. It’s a straightforward place without any of the high-end luxuries you might find in big city universities. We have the usual stuff like desks, blackboards, and a few computers for the students to use. Life at the college follows the seasons; it’s busy when classes are in session and a bit quieter during the breaks. We have a small group of staff who manage everything from the cleaning to the teaching. It’s a very practical environment. Students usually come from the surrounding villages and Patiala itself to attend their lectures. We don’t spend much on advertising or trying to look corporate. We’re just a local college trying to provide a place for people to study near their homes. Sometimes the road outside gets a bit dusty or muddy depending on the weather, but that’s just how it is in Dharmkote. People know us as a place where you can come, do your work, and get your education without a lot of fuss. We keep our records in the main office and try to stay on top of the paperwork as best we can. Most days involve just checking schedules and answering the phone.
