Addvantage Finishing School

You can find us at 28 A, Rajpura Road, over in Vikas Colony. It’s a nice enough part of Patiala, fairly quiet compared to the main city center. Addvantage Finishing School is basically a place where we help people polish up their skills. It isn't a typical big institution with thousands of students. We keep things smaller and more personal. The building is a house that we’ve converted into our workspace, so it has a bit of a homey feel to it. There’s a bit of a garden out front and we try to keep it tidy. Inside, the rooms are set up for different sessions. We spend a lot of time talking and practicing things like how to carry yourself or speak better in public. It’s practical stuff. Sometimes people think a finishing school is something out of a movie, but here in Patiala, it’s just about getting ready for work or social life. We drink a lot of tea and talk through things. The Rajpura Road area is easy for people to get to, which helps. We don’t have a big corporate office or a shiny lobby. It’s just us, some chairs, and a desire to help people feel a bit more confident. It’s a slow and steady process, and we like the pace of it. Being in Vikas Colony makes it feel like we are part of the local community, and we see the same faces every day.
