Punjabi University

This is the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Punjabi University. We are based on the main campus, and it’s a pretty busy place most of the year. If you walk through our halls, you’ll mostly hear the sound of keyboards clicking and students talking about their projects. It’s not just about sitting in lectures; a lot of the work happens in the computer labs. We have rows of systems where students spend hours trying to get their code to work. Sometimes it’s frustrating for them, but that’s just how learning engineering goes. The professors have their offices nearby, and they’re usually busy with their own research or grading papers. We get students from all over Punjab and even further away. The campus is quite big, so there’s always people moving around between the library and the departments. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t go in for much decoration; it’s mostly just whiteboards and computers. During exam season, the energy changes and everyone gets a bit more serious. We have tea stalls nearby where everyone gathers for a break between classes. It’s a place where people come to learn the technical stuff they need for their future careers. There’s no fancy marketing here, just a lot of hard work and late nights in the lab. It’s just a standard university department doing its daily job. We try to keep the machines running and the students focused on their labs.
