Hunger Strike

Hunger Strike is basically just a small spot here in Hem bagh market. We've been on Kheri road for a while now, right in the New Officers Colony part of Patiala. It’s pretty easy to find us because the Shiv mandir is right there, and most people around here know that landmark. Honestly, starting this place wasn't some big grand plan. We just saw the market growing and thought we could set something up. Some days it gets really busy with people coming from the colony, and other times it's just us sitting here watching the traffic go by. The shop isn't fancy at all. We have some tables, the kitchen is tucked in the back, and we try to keep things clean and simple. You know how it is in Patiala, people just want something to eat without a lot of fuss. We get a lot of locals who walk over from the nearby houses. It feels like a neighborhood thing more than a big business. Sometimes the power goes out or the road gets dusty when they're doing construction, but that’s just life here. If you’re walking toward the mandir, you’ll see our sign. We usually open up in the morning and stay late enough for the dinner crowd. It’s just me and a couple of others working here most days. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. Just the counter and the stove.
