Happy Frozen Stuff

You can find us at shop number 18 in Leela Bhawan Market, which is right near that big madaam showroom everyone knows. We’ve been here in Patiala for a few years now, selling all kinds of frozen food items. It started out because I realized how hard it was to find a good variety of frozen snacks in one place. We have a row of deep freezers that take up most of the shop space. It’s usually cold inside, which is nice during the summer months. We stock everything from basic peas and corn to all the different types of kebabs and snacks you can just fry up at home. The shop isn't very big, so it gets a bit cramped when more than three people are inside looking through the glass lids. I’m usually here every day, making sure the power stays on and the stock is organized. Sometimes the deliveries from the suppliers come late, and I have to spend the evening rearranging everything. It’s a pretty straightforward business. We don't do much advertising; people just see the sign when they’re shopping in the market and pop in. It’s a good spot for busy parents or people who just want a quick snack without much fuss. We just focus on keeping the freezers running and the shelves full for whoever walks in next. Sometimes the floor is a bit wet from the defrosting, but we clean it up.
