Commerce Group

Our place is located at 1297/3 Ragho Majra, right near the Kamboj Dharmshala in Patiala. It is a bit of a maze back here if you aren't used to these streets, but once you find us, it is pretty straightforward. Commerce Group isn't a massive operation with hundreds of people. It is just a handful of us working out of this office every day. We handle a lot of paperwork and phone calls, which can get a bit tedious, but it is what we do. The building itself is older, and sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble, but it has character. Being near the Dharmshala means there is always something happening outside, people coming and going for different events. It keeps the area lively. We usually start the day with a cup of tea and go through the mail. There’s no big hierarchy here; if something needs doing, whoever is free just grabs it and gets to work. We don’t really have a sales team or anyone like that. We just answer the phone when it rings and try to help out whoever is calling. Sometimes it gets stressful when deadlines pile up, but we’ve learned to just take it one task at a time. It’s been our home for a while now, and even though we could probably move to a more modern area, we like being here in this part of Patiala. It feels real and connected to the community around us.
