Sonadangi Uttaran Farmers Producer Company Limited is based over in Ukilpara. That is in Raiganj, within the Uttar Dinajpur district. We are a small group of local farmers. Most of us have lived here our whole lives and our fathers were farmers too. We decided to register as a company because it helps with the local paperwork and getting things sorted for our crops. It is not like we have a big staff or any offices. It is just the same people you see working in the fields every single day. Raiganj is a busy enough place, but out where we farm, it stays pretty quiet. We grow what we can and try to sell it without having too much trouble. Sometimes it works out well, and sometimes it is a real struggle for us. That is just how farming goes around here. We do not really use big words or have some kind of grand plan for the future.
