Durgapur Faridpur Producer Company Limited

Our company, Durgapur Faridpur Producer Company Limited, is based in Madhaiganj village. We use a space at Sarala Murmu’s place in the Jamgora area. Being near Durgapur, things can get quite busy around here. We are a group of producers who live and work in this part of the district. Most of us are busy in the fields or workshops all day. We decided to register as a company so we could handle our sales and supplies in a more organized way. It is not a big corporate office with computers and air conditioning. It is just a room where we keep our records and meet to talk. Sometimes the roads to Madhaiganj get dusty or muddy depending on the season, but we manage. We are just local people. We don't use big words or have complicated plans. We just want to make sure that the things we produce get to the people who need them without too many middle-men taking a cut. It is hard work, and often the pay isn't as much as we hope for. But we stay at it because it is what we know and what our families have always done. You can usually find someone around Sarala’s place if you need to talk to us about the produce. We just take things one day at a time and try to help each other out whenever we can.
