Pathan Battery

If you are in Sadri and your vehicle will not start, you might end up at Pathan Battery. We have been here for a while now. The shop is filled with all kinds of batteries. We have the big ones for trucks and tractors, and the smaller ones for motorcycles. There are even those heavy ones for house power backups. It is a messy place. My hands are usually dirty from the battery terminals and the grease. I have a small workbench in the back where I test the cells and see if they can be recharged. Sometimes the smell of the acid is quite strong, so we keep the fan on. It is a simple shop with a concrete floor that has seen better days. People come in looking stressed because their car is stuck somewhere. I try to help them quickly so they can get back on the road. We do not have a fancy waiting room for people. Most folks just stand by the door and watch me work. I learned the trade by doing it every single day for years. My tools are old but they work just fine for what I need. In the evenings, it gets a bit quieter. I spend that time cleaning up the bench and organizing the empty casings to be sent back to the factory. It is hard work and the units are heavy, but it is a good trade. People in Sadri know they can come here when they are in a fix. We just fix the battery and get them moving.
