At Mahadev Auto Electric Service, we spend the whole day dealing with wires, batteries, and starters. We are located on Sumerpur Road in the Keshav Nagar area. It’s a lot of grease and hard work, but someone has to do it. When a car or a tractor has an electrical fault, they bring it here. Most of the time it’s just a dead battery or a blown fuse, but sometimes we have to pull the whole dashboard apart to find a short circuit. My hands are usually black from the soot and oil by ten in the morning. Sumerpur Road is dusty and loud, but Keshav Nagar is a good spot for a workshop like this because there’s enough space for the vehicles to park while we work on them. I’ve got a couple of guys helping me out, and we mostly just work outside under the shade when we can. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. People just stand around and watch us work or go get a tea nearby. It’s practical work. If the light doesn’t turn on or the engine won't crank, we fix it. Some days are slow and we just clean our tools, other days we have four cars lined up before we even open the shutter. It’s just how the garage business goes, and we've been doing it like this for a long time now.
