Garima Transformer Pali

We are located out in the RIICO Industrial Area at H 73. It is a bit of a dusty spot, which is normal for this part of Pali. At Garima Transformer, we spend most of our time dealing with heavy copper wire and those big metal tanks. The floor is usually a bit greasy because of the transformer oil, and there is always the smell of hot metal and welding going on. It is a workshop, not a showroom, so things are stacked where they fit. We have the overhead crane for moving the heavier cores around because they weigh a lot more than they look. Most days are spent winding coils or checking for leaks in the seals. It gets quite loud when the grinders are running, and we usually have to shout a bit to hear each other over the noise of the machines. The sun hits the metal roof in the afternoon and makes the place pretty warm. We keep a big jug of water in the corner for everyone. People bring in units that have blown out or just need a complete overhaul after years of sitting in the sun. We take them apart, see what is wrong, and get to work fixing them up. It is physical work and your clothes usually end up pretty stained by the end of the shift. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get the units back out to the customers.
