We are located at Gundochia Baas 59, which is a bit tucked away in the older part of the area. It’s not a big fancy showroom, just a place where we manage our trading business and keep track of orders. Most of the day involves making calls and checking on deliveries that are supposed to arrive or be sent out. The building itself is old, with thick walls that keep it somewhat cool in the summer, though it still gets stuffy. I have a big wooden desk that is usually covered in receipts and ledgers because I prefer writing things down on paper rather than just using a computer. We deal with various supplies, mostly general items that other businesses or shops might need. It’s not the kind of place where random people walk in off the street very often, but we stay busy with our regular contacts. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time getting into the narrow street, so we have to go out and help guide them in. The neighborhood is quiet for the most part, except for the kids playing outside or the occasional cow wandering past the door. It is a steady way to spend the day, just making sure the numbers add up and the goods are moving where they need to go without too much trouble. I usually lock up around six and walk to the main road to catch a rickshaw home.
