Nagori Timber & Plywood

Down on Mandia Road, you’ll find Nagori Timber & Plywood. It’s hard to miss because of the smell of fresh cut wood that hangs in the air around our gate. We’ve been here for a long time, dealing with all kinds of wood and sheets. The yard is usually full of logs and stacks of plywood waiting to be moved. It’s a noisy place with the saws going, but we like the rhythm of it. We aren't a big corporate chain. It’s just us and a few workers who know their way around a piece of timber. People from all over the area come to us when they are building a house or fixing some furniture. We don't have a fancy showroom. You just walk into the yard and show us what you need. Sometimes we have to dig through a pile to find the right piece, but we always find it eventually. The weather affects us a lot; when it rains, we have to scramble to cover everything up. Mandia Road is a busy stretch, and we are right in the middle of the action. We don't spend money on advertising or big signs. People know we are here and they know we sell wood. That’s enough for us. It’s a humble business built on hard work and lots of splinters. We stay busy from morning till late.
