About Vishvakarma Silai Machine Works – Industrial Plant & Machines in Pali
Working near the Somnath Temple at Bheru Ghat means our days are timed by the temple bells. Vishvakarma Silai Machine Works has been in this spot for quite a while, and we’ve seen the seasons change many times from our front door. It’s a humble workshop where the main sounds are the clinking of tools and the occasional person asking for directions to the temple. We focus on fixing sewing machines, so the place is usually full of spare parts, old metal frames, and bottles of oil. It smells like a mix of incense from the temple and machine grease, which is a combination you get used to pretty fast. We don't have a website or any big marketing plans. People just know that if their machine is acting up, they can bring it to Bheru Ghat and we’ll take a look. We sit on low stools most of the day, leaning over the mechanisms to find out why a thread keeps snapping or a timing is off. It’s fiddly work and requires steady hands. When the festivals happen, the whole area gets incredibly crowded, and we often just sit outside the shop and watch the processions go by. It’s a good community to be a part of. We aren't looking to expand or become a big chain. We’re just content being the local repair shop where people can get their machines fixed by someone who knows what they’re doing. It is our way of life.
