About Nakoda Prints – Industrial Plant & Machines in Pali
Nakoda Prints is based in Dharampura. If you know the narrow lanes of this area, you know it’s the heart of the local textile and printing world. Our space is usually overflowing with rolls of fabric and the smell of fresh dye. It’s a bit of a chaotic environment. We have piles of prints everywhere, and sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit down and have a cup of tea. There are no fancy brochures or sales pitches here. We just show people what we’ve printed and let the cloth speak for itself. The light in the workshop isn't the best, so we often take the fabric out to the doorway to see the colors properly in the sunlight. It’s a family-style atmosphere where everyone knows what they’re supposed to do. We’ve had some of the same people working here for years, and we just move together like a clock. Dharampura is always busy, and there’s a lot of shouting and moving of carts outside our doors. We just stay focused on the patterns and the colors. We don’t worry about being a big corporation. We are just a small print shop trying to do things the old-fashioned way. It’s a lot of manual labor, and at the end of the day, our hands are usually stained with ink, but we don’t mind it. It’s just how things are at Nakoda Prints.
