We are located over at 115 in the Ajit Industrial Estate, which is right near Dahisar on the Western Express Highway. Being close to the check naka at Mira Village means there’s always a lot of dust and noise from the heavy trucks passing by, but it makes it easier for our deliveries. At Samrat Furnaces Pvt. Ltd., we deal with a lot of heat and metal. It’s a tough environment, especially in the summer months when the sun hits the roof of the shed. We aren't fancy people. Most of us show up in work clothes that usually end up with some grease or soot on them by the end of the shift. The office is just a small corner partitioned off from the main workshop area where we keep the ledgers and the telephone. We’ve been at this for years, building and fixing furnaces for all sorts of industrial uses. It’s heavy work and it requires a lot of patience. There’s no big marketing team here, just the guys on the floor and a couple of us handling the orders. We know the highway sounds by heart now. It’s a practical spot for a business like ours because we can get parts in and out fairly quickly. We just try to do a solid job and keep the machines running for the people who buy them from us.
