Fam Engineering

We are based over at Munshi Compound in Kashi Mira. If you know the area, we are pretty close to the Sunrise Hotel on Mira Road. It’s a busy part of District Thane and there is always something going on outside. The workshop has been here for a while. Usually, you can hear the machines running from the street before you even get through the door. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. The guys here have been working together for a long time. We mostly deal with engineering parts and fixing things that people bring in. It is not a fancy place by any means. There is grease on the floors and bits of metal shavings everywhere, but that is just how an engineering shop looks. Some days are quieter than others, but mostly it is just steady work. We grab tea from the stall nearby when we get a break. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard for deliveries to get in on time, but we manage. People from the neighborhood know where to find us. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out. That’s pretty much the whole story of this place.
