We are based at Gala No. A/37 inside the Star Industrial Estate. It’s in the Waliv area of Vasai East, specifically on Naikpada Road right near the Hanuman Mandir. If you hear the bells from the temple, you know you’re close. The estate is a busy place with lots of small units like ours. We do engineering work, so the gala is full of lathes and drills. It’s cramped, but we know where everything is. We spend the day working on different metal parts and fixing things that come in. There isn't a lot of space for a proper office, so the paperwork usually sits on a table near the door. The fan doesn't do much when it's hot, but we keep the doors open to get a breeze. Most of us have been working in Vasai for years. We know the other shop owners around here and we often share tools or advice. It’s not a polished operation, just a real workshop where things get made. Sometimes we have to work through the weekend if a client is in a rush. We don't use much technology besides the machines we need for the metalwork. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. If you come by, just look for the Hanuman Mandir and you’ll find the entrance to the estate easily enough. We’ve been here since the start and haven't moved once. Just a bunch of us doing what we know.
